DOT feedback session: today

Interested in the changes going on up and down Broadway? Want to see those new bike and ped lanes made permanent? Have some gripes you want to air? Think the lane ends suddenly with no clear signage directing bikers to a bike-friendly street? (That’s one of my gripes.)

From a Transportation Alternatives email:

On Monday, the Department of Transportation will hold a public feedback session on its work to make Broadway safer and more comfortable for bicyclists and pedestrians. Do you support the new plazas at Times Square and Herald Square? Are you using the new protected bike lanes that now run from Columbus Circle to 23rd Street? We need you to stand up and speak out for these changes, and encourage the City to make them permanent.

Where: New Yorker Hotel, 481 8th Avenue at 34th Street, Manhattan
When: Monday, October 5, 6 pm to 8 pm

If you have ideas on how the City can improve on these projects, bring them! You can learn more about Broadways transformation here:
