Two Trains, by Tony Hoagland

Read it. It’s worth it.

Hoagland’s short poem Two Trains is is funny and beautiful, with a punch at the end. And it’s easy. It doesn’t matter if you say you don’t read poetry–you’ll like it. A fantastic can’t-help-but-picture-it sex metaphor seals the deal.

You can check out a few of his other poems at poets.org.
